Mr. Palmer received a Bachelor of Arts in History from Princeton University in 1997 and a Master of Arts in Southern Studies from The University of Mississippi in 1999. He received his Juris Doctorate degree from Tulane Law School in 2002. Mr. Palmer's current practice is focused on general civil litigation. Mr. Palmer's focus also includes all facets of family law.

He is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the Slidell Bar Association, and the Louisiana Association for Justice.

Mr. Palmer is admitted to practice in all state courts of Louisiana, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana and the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
